Zarna Garg is an Indian-American stand-up comedian, screenwriter, and author who began her comedy career in her 40s after being a stay-at-home mother for 16 years. A former lawyer with a Juris Doctor degree, she immigrated to the US from India as a teenager to escape an arranged marriage. Encouraged by her children, she started performing stand-up in 2018 and has since released a Prime Video special, "One in a Billion," and a New York Times bestselling memoir, "This American Woman".
