Nisha Rao
Nisha Rao is a Pakistani transgender lawyer, activist, and host of the Nisha Rao Podcast. After leaving her family home, she funded her own education, becoming Pakistan's first transgender law graduate in 2020 and later the first to be admitted to an MPhil/LLM program at the University of Karachi. Through her podcast and her NGO, TransPride Society, she provides a platform for the transgender community, documenting their stories and advocating for their rights, safety, and social inclusion.
