Jonah Platt is an American actor, singer, and advocate who hosts the "Being Jewish" podcast. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English, he has an extensive career in theater, including a starring role as Fiyero in Broadway's "Wicked," and has appeared in films like "Being the Ricardos." Following the events of October 7, 2023, Platt pivoted his focus to Jewish advocacy, using his podcast to explore contemporary Jewish culture, identity, and politics. His work has been recognized with a Webby Honoree for Best Indie Podcast and a Wilbur Award for Excellence.
