Martijn Kluit

The host of Dutch Today is Martijn Kluit, a certified teacher of Dutch as a second language (docent NT2). In addition to teaching, he has been a member of the municipal council in Amstelveen for the PRO party since April 2026. He uses the podcast as a tool to support Dutch language students, creating lessons based on real-world topics, including his own experiences in local politics.
